Raylac Industrial is primarily a supplier of welding products and gases. We have an extensive range of welding products, ranging from the common arc welding rods to industrial welding machines. We also sell allied products such as abrasives, power tools, etching primer and safety ware.
Our vision is to be South Africa's largest welding supplier. We want to offer only the best brands at the lowest prices ensuring piece of mind for our customers. We also believe in supporting local manufacturers. Our tig torch sleeving, which is flame and acid proof is the first of many products that we want to develop locally. Our paints and etching primers are all manufactured locally. Over the next 10 years we will be focusing on developing products locally to reduce imports and create jobs.
All the welding machines and power tools sold by us are serviced and repaired in house. We stock a comprehensive range of spares for mig and tig torches. This means that there is no waiting period for spares to be ordered. Our turn around time on mig and tig torch repairs is one day.
We make up earth cables based on the customers requirements. Cable thickness and length will be determined by the application. We also have different types of earth clamps to choose from.
We stock brands such as Afrox, Hyundai, Pferd, Norton, Safegas, Binzel and much more.
We also supply specialized gases and welding / brazing rods on request.
Our vehicles are hazchem approved and thus can enter any site required. Our staff comply with the PPE set out by the safety officer of each site ensuring that are no compliance issues. We pride ourselves on giving the best customer service possible.

Our company offers a unique service that allows customers that are working during public holidays and Sundays to order supplies for delivery when our retail store is closed. This service can be used by making arrangements for delivery in advance.
We repair most brands of power tools. The only time we don't repair a tool is if it is a Chinese brand with no spares or parts available or if the tool is a DIY tool. These tools are cheaper to replace.
We repair most brands of welding machines, however spares on some brands my not be available in Durban or in SA. This sometimes causes a repair to take longer than the client can afford to wait. This is why we recommend that clients spend a little more money on the initial purchase of a welding machine that has proper backup service and spares.

Norton is our second brand in abrasives. Their cutting, grinding and sanding discs are very popular and offer great value for money.
Panasonic is our preferred supplier of welding machines. They offer good quality products with excellent backup service. Spare parts for their machines are always available. This reduces down time when repairs need to be done on their machines.
Afrox products are rated number one in South Africa. The quality on some of these products cannot be matched by any other brand. The pricing on these items a generally very high.
Hyundai is a quality brand of welding rods and wire. They are used in many industrial applications, and perform very well. We recommend Hyundai as an alternative to Afrox.
